About RebusFarm

The RebusFarm Render Farm, founded in Cologne, Germany in 2006, has been the driving force in meeting the growing demand for rendering power in the 3D industry.

With support for all major 3D applications and secondary rendering software, RebusFarm is committed to offering the largest possible rendering capacity at the most affordable price. Our focus is not only on raw computing power but also on maintaining exceptional, service-oriented customer support, ensuring a seamless experience for 3D artists and studios worldwide.

In 2009, RebusFarm revolutionized the industry by launching the Farminizer Software (patent pending), a game-changing solution that allowed users to directly access the render farm from within their 3D software. This innovation streamlined workflows, saving valuable time and resources for our users.

RebusFarm 2.0, introduced in February 2015, added key tools like the ControlCenter and RebusDrop, further refining the user experience. These enhancements provided more intuitive management options, allowing artists to oversee and monitor render jobs from anywhere. Features like secure file transfers, faster project exports, and automatic updates elevated the platform’s efficiency even further.

In September 2019, RebusFarm 3.0 set a new standard with a redesigned ControlCenter and powerful features such as batch rendering, pre-upload capabilities, real-time previews, and a resubmission function. This update took the platform to new heights, enabling greater flexibility and speed in handling complex rendering tasks.

In 2023, we proudly unveiled the latest version of our software, "The New RebusFarm – Faster, Stronger, Better." This major update introduces a streamlined user interface and blazing-fast connectivity, utilizing the latest transfer protocols to drastically reduce upload times. With the integration of cutting-edge 64-core CPU machines and Nvidia GPU cards with up to 5 GPUs per engine, our rendering speed is unmatched, allowing projects to start immediately and complete faster than ever.

We also launched a completely renewed ControlCenter, boasting a sleek modern design, instant command execution, and enhanced job status information, offering users more detailed insights into their projects. Additionally, finished frames are now available for immediate download upon completion, and our new Team Management tool allows users to manage unlimited team members, monitor budgets, and share progress with clients effortlessly.

RebusFarm is the market leader in capacity, price, reliability, and delivery speed. Our commitment to continuous research and development ensures that we remain at the forefront of rendering technology, empowering creatives with the tools they need to bring their visions to life.

Render Farm - Green Power

Sustainable Render Farm Service

Sustainable Render Farm Service

RebusFarm is a leading render farm service provider. We are committed to sustainability and continue demonstrating our industry leadership.

Render farms require a significant amount of energy to produce high-quality renders, and non-renewable sources have traditionally supplied them. However, at RebusFarm we are committed to being kind to the planet we live on. We believe it is essential to prioritize sustainability and adopt green energy solutions.

The RebusFarm Render Service focuses on 3 factors to keep improving sustainability: a green energy provider, energy-efficient hardware, and intelligent management software.

Green Power Provider

We get our green electricity from RheinEnergie AG, a major energy company in Germany, and one of the greatest authorities on sustainable energy.

Their green electricity is generated 100% from renewable resources, whose generation plants are connected to the Western and Central European interconnected grid (ENTSO-E). These include hydroelectric power plants in the Alpine countries and wind turbines in windy neighboring countries.

Hardware Efficiency

We purchase our hardware with a focus on the latest energy-saving technologies and only use CPUs with high processing density, to optimize the energy consumption per rendering hour of our render farm. This eliminates superficially cheap technologies like old low-core CPUs and GPUs.

Intelligent Software Management

Performance-optimized, customized render farm management software results in important but unobvious energy savings. Our intelligent software management not only protects our customers from unwanted surprises with their rendering results, but also reduces unnecessary energy consumption of the render farm by avoiding redundant renderings. Our render farm development efforts are aimed at the best possible efficiency for the benefit of both our customers and the environment.

Overall, RebusFarm is constantly striving to improve these key factors to provide a sustainable rendering service. And by using our services, you are making a positive impact in reducing carbon emissions.
