For this month’s ArtWanted! feature, it is our pleasure to immerse ourselves in the diverse portfolio of Brazilian archviz artist Ander Alencar. From humble beginnings to running a 30-men team, Ander has been all about giving back to the CG community. Through a steady flow of video content, he openly shares not only his work, but his extensive industry knowledge as well, all while managing the daily operations of his studio Oficina3D and creating personal projects.

In our interview, Ander talks about entrepreneurship, time management and how a single poster shaped his career.

Diversity is the spice of life! The beauty of architectural visualization is that it allows us to digitally explore a multitude of unique architectonic styles and traditions. In a globalized world, though, this interconnectivity is a double-edged sword: particular, successful trends are quick to be accepted as universal standard, often at the cost of creativity. This month, accomplished interior designer and archviz artist Amir Cherni helps us counterbalance these developments by showcasing the Mediterranean style of his home country of Tunisia.

Immersion at full speed: How Bipolar Studio created a unique VR experience for the Super Bowl LIII

The NFL Super Bowl is one of the biggest sport events on the planet. With global viewership in the hundred millions, the final game of the U.S. football league has a particular allure to advertisers. Commercials and campaigns surrounding the event are regularly anticipated just as highly as the happenings in the arena itself.

It should come as no surprise then, that when Ford approached Bipolar Studio to create a unique commercial experience for the Super Bowl LIII, the team jumped at the chance. Opting to skip traditional T.V. advertising, the Los Angeles-based production company devised a one of a kind, cinematic CGI VR image film, filled to the brim with breathtaking visuals, art direction and clever references to America’s favorite pastime.

Art Wanted! Featuring Wacław Kłos

Unsatisfied with his employment relationship, Wacław decided to take a chance and established his own business Epistudio. In our interview, he recounts his journey to self-employment and exploring additional revenue streams as a freelance artist.
