3D Artist of the Month January 2020: Yuriy Dulich
Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 by Julian Karsunky
2020 is finally here, and what better way to celebrate the start of a new decade than with a (big) bang!? Opening for our 3D Artist of the Month campaign in January is Yuriy Dulich, an Ukrainian astrophysicist turned stellar groomer and character artist. Having recently received an Animago award for his ‘Subarctic Great Horned Owl’, his expert avian craftsmanship is on display again: Yuriy’s ‘Somali Ostrich’, the result of a strategic market analysis and a self-imposed challenge, is just out of this world!
Check out our in-depth interview to find out more about Yuriy’s fascinating journey, the relation between CGI and astrophysics, and why petting animals is beneficial to his work.

This organization provides food and medical aid in places where it is urgently needed.
Maybe you would like to donate something to an organization of your choice too?
3D Artist of the Month December 2019: Pablo Tabarez
Sunday, December 1st, 2019 by Julian Karsunky
What better way to close out this year’s 3D Artist of the Month campaign than with an archviz holiday in the Mediterranean! For Pablo Tabarez, however, producing the cool and luxurious residence that earned him a well-deserved win in December 2019, was anything but a leisure activity. Blurring the lines between the digital and physical world, the project holds a special place in Pablo’s heart – and makes for an impressive display of expert CG craft.
Take a break and join us on a daydream to Ibiza, where we discuss the importance of emotion in architecture, working with local suppliers in 3D and more.

Hello Earth Program: How 3D is sustainably changing the future
Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 by Gyöngyi Pilisi
RebusFarm has been using 100% CO2 and nuclear waste free energy for years. Running on green energy combined with a cooling system without air-conditioning and an intelligent software management system is RebusFarm's contribution to an environmentally friendly business.
Today we are very excited to introduce to you Gyöngyi and Ond Pilisi, two dedicated 3D artists who use their skills to make a difference in this world. Together they founded the 'Hello Earth Program' and approached us to take a step forward with them to make the world a little greener in the future.
Using cute animations, they create short videos aimed at schoolchildren to learn about the perception of their environment and its effects early on and in a playful way.
We give the floor to Gyöngyi to present their great program.
3D Artist of the Month November 2019: Jeffry Quiambao
Friday, November 1st, 2019 by Julian Karsunky
The last shall be first: While Jeffry Quiambao did not meet the deadline for the character challenge his ‘Fennec Fox’ was intended for, we are more than happy to crown him winner of our 3D Artist of the Month competition in November 2019! Judging by the impeccable work on the vulpine monk, it might come as a surprise that Jeffry is not a character artist by trade, having a professional archviz background instead.
In our interview, Jeffry talks about character design, career ambitions and job hunting in his new Arizona home.
